By accessing and using CareerVault ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Platform.
CareerVault provides a professional portfolio platform that enables:
Account Creation: You must create an account to use certain features of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Account Types: Different account types (Professional, Recruiter, Company) have different features and limitations as described in our pricing plans.
You agree not to:
CareerVault offers identity, education, and employment verification services. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information provided by users or third-party verification services is completely accurate or up-to-date. Users rely on verification information at their own risk.
Platform Content: The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CareerVault and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
User Content: You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant CareerVault a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content in connection with operating the Platform.
Paid Plans: Some features require paid subscriptions. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds: Refund policies are described in our pricing pages. Generally, we do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings page, with a 30-day grace period for cancellation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Platform.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
